Happy November everyone! November is one of my favorite months. It finally starts to get cold in Alabama, school is almost over, and, in my opinion, it’s okay to start listening to Christmas music at least once a week. So this week I just wanted to share with you a few of my favorite things about fall and, of coarse, a recipe.
I get really excited about fall because it’s finally cool enough to eat soup. I don’t know about anyone else but I kinda hate soup in the summer. I’m the same way about about coffee. But anyway, usually one of the first soups I make is taco soup. I love it, but I’m pretty sure everyone does . Its super easy and super delicious, and as a plus I usually have some left over to freeze.
All you need is:
Just brown your meat with some salt, pepper, and garlic powder and drain. Then ad all of your ingredients to the crock pot and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours. I usually serve mine with sour cream, cheese, and tortilla chips.
Another one of my favorite parts of fall is the decorations and pumpkins.
Tyler’s sister, who is also named Jennifer, started making wreaths this year and made this pretty one for my door.
My Aunt Denice also sent me these cute decorations for my apartment.
And Tyler and I made these pumpkins with his family a few weekends ago. Mine is the witch and his is Jack from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
This season gets me so excited and I can’t wait for Thanksgiving, of coarse because all of the yummies, but mostly because we are going to Disney World this year. I almost can’t handle Disney at Christmas!
I hope you all are enjoying fall as much as I am, and I hope you enjoy my recipe as well!
